Thanks to Shore’s “Parents of Graduates” grant, I’m headed to Greece and Italy starting June 29th to explore ancient sites such as the Parthenon, Delphi, and the Valley of the Temples. Alongside these major stops, I’ll be spending my days wandering the streets of historic neighborhoods, eating locally sourced foods, marvelling at spectacular mosaics and other types of artwork, as well as learning all about ancient architecture. And…that’s just the beginning since I’m guessing that I’ll get wrapped up in all sorts of unexpected adventures!
At the end of each day, I’ll post some highlights of my travels along with pictures of what I’ve seen and done. I’ll be sure to leave space for you to comment and ask questions.
